Cardamom:

The origin of Cardamom (elaichi) is from “kerala” southern part of India. Everyone knows cardamom due to its unique taste, aroma and medicinal properties. Now a days it is used in ayurvedic medicines related to mouth and digestive disease.

 

Types of cardamom

It has mainly  of two varieties. Green cardamom (choti elaichi) which is green in color and small in seed size and another is Black cardamom(badi elaichi) which is black or dark brown in color and big in size(2 to 3 cm).

Normally black cardamom is use to make our food stuff more spics and tasty. We use green cardamom in tea and some times eat it directly for benefits like, to avoid bad breath, avoid vomiting etc.

Cardamom has many chemical component which provide it antioxidant, antibacterial and health improvement elements.

It is rich in minerals like manganese, calcium and potassium, iron etc

Improve digestion: Due to inflammatory property, cardamom is very helpful in nausea, stomach pain and constipation problems.

Regulate blood pressure: Cardamom is rich in mineral like potassium and magnesium which require for maintaining blood pressure and heart beat.

Avoid acidity: Due to its cooling effect it provides relief in acidity. Cardamom is rich in oil which excites the salivary glands to secrete more saliva.

Avoid bad breath: Due to its antibacterial properties, cardamom provides you quick relief from bad breath. It provide pleasant smell due to its unique aroma

Eye sight improvement: Cardamom is rich in vitamins like C and riboflavin etc, which is essential to maintain eyesight.

Sexual problems: It is beneficial in premature ejaculation and impotency cases. It also provides strength which is require of sex life. Use cardamom with tea or milk daily.

Dental problem: Due to its anti- bacterial properties, it is use to avoid dental problem.

Avoid cancer: Due to detoxifying properties it is useful to avoid cancer. It cleans all poisonous elements from our body through urine and sweat form.
