aloe-veraAloe means evergreen (plant) and Vera means genuine. Aloe Vera is one of the genuine ever green medicinal plants use in many health issue cases. Due to its beneficial effects it is available in every one out of two home. There are many proofs which show that aloe vera is used as medicinal plant from many centuries. We can use it for external body issue (hair, glowing skin and sun burn) as well as internal body issue (blood circulation, immune system and constipation etc.). Many beauty products, hair-care shampoos and ointments use it as an ingredient.

Benefits of Aloe Vera

Indigestion: 

Aloe Vera has anti-inflammatory property which helps to reduce indigestion and improves the bowel movements. It is also helpful in case of constipation due to its laxative properties.  Take one tablespoon aloe vera juice daily.

Joint Pains:

Aloe vera has antiseptic property which helps to healing joint pain. Take fresh aloe vera gel from its leaves and apply it at the joints

Cholesterol level:

Aloe vera helps to reduce harmful LDL cholesterol level as well as reduces blood sugar levels. Take one tablespoon aloe vera juice once in a day.

Immune system:

Aloe vera improves the immune system due to antioxidant properties and reduces harmful radicals from our body.

Skin Care:

Aloe Vera is rich in anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which help to heal scars, acne, blisters, sunburn and other skin problems. Take Aloe Vera gel directly from leaf and apply it on effected area of skin.

Body weight:

Aloe vera is helpful in maintaining body weight also. Actually aloe vera juice improves our digestive system which reduces the conversion of food intake into fats by digesting it.

Gum pain:

It has antibacterial properties which help to remove the bacteria from gum and provide relief form pain. Many toothpastes use it as an ingredient. You can apply aloe vera gel on your gum and massage 2-5 minutes.

Re-fresheners:

Due to its anti-inflammatory and moisturizing property we can use it as re-fresheners for skin and after shave.

Wound Heal:

It is useful in healing burn, wound and cuts on skin. Apply aloe vera gel on effected area. It also provide some instant relief.

Scalp problem:

Aloe vera is beneficial for scalp problems. It removes the dirt and dead skin from scalp. Mix 2 tablespoon water with 2 tablespoon aloe vera gel and apply it on scalp with finger tips and clean after 30 minutes with fresh water.

PH balance:

Aloe Vera maintains the ph level due to its alkaline property. Use aloe vera gel for maintaining ph level of skin and hair.

 

Note: Although aloe vera is a safe plant but sometime yellow latex part which is at the outer layer of it, makes it risky. So use it with caution.
