How to improve your vision

Eyes are called the sense organ or vision organ of our body. Vision is the ability to distinguish fine details. It can recognise about 10 million colours. Just think your life without eye. I am sure you are not feeling comfortable.

In our day to day life many people do exercise for good health but very few of them do exercise for healthy eye. When we give 8 to 10 hours on computer it is necessary to do eye exercise otherwise your eye sight will weak and you have to start using eye glasses.

Few exercise for vision improvement.

  1. Before starting health exercise we do warm up similarly for eye, start with warm up. Rub your palm with each other and apply it on your eyes when your palm feels some warmness. (5 to 10 times)
  2. Move your eye sight from upper to lower side without moving your head and vice versa. (5 to 10 times)
  3. Move it  form left to right side without moving your head and do vice versa.(5 to 10 times)
  4. Now move your eye sight like upper tip of needle in wall clock. Make extreme circle by your eye vision.(do this 5 to 10 times)
  5. Take a pencil or pen at arm length. Focus on tip of the pen. Slowly move the pen closer to you until it seems two pens. Then move away up to arm length slowly. Your vision and pen tip should be in same horizontal plane. (5 to 10 times)

 

Add these foods in your meal diet

Some vitamins like A, C and E is very important for eyes.

  • Banana is good for dry eyes it has anti oxidant quality.
  • Carrot is rich in vitamin A.
  • Eat citrus fruits like oranges, lemons, grape etc.
  • Eat oily fishes like tuna.
  • Egg and nuts (kaju and badam) rich in vitamin E.
  • Leafy vegetables like spinach (palak) and kale (patta gobhi),

 

 Some other useful tips for eyes

  • Clean your eyes with fresh water. Do it 2 to 3 times in a day.
  • Give up alcohol and smoking habit because they causes degeneration and cataracts in eyes.
  • Take proper and enough sleep.(not less than 6 to 8 hours in a day)
  • Whenever go in sun light wear sunglass which protects your eyes from ultra violet rays.
  • Always be in contact with vision therapist and go for check up of your eyes routinely.
