In search for instant results we have moved from natural home remedies to chemical treatments. But we have seen with time that Instant result is not the right key for healthy hair. In your home there are a number of home remedies that can give you healthy, strong and long hairs back. Some of these are:

1. Take a cup of curd in a bowl. Apply it on the scalp and then massage. After 30 minutes, wash out. In 2-3 months your hair fall will stop.


2. Take a little amount of almond (badam) oil and apply it on your scalp repeatedly and massage. Leave it for 1-2 hours and then wash it.


3. Egg is also used in hair treatment as it contains protein. Using it for once or twice in a week will show you the outcome, thick and strong hair. Depending on the length of hair, in a bowl take one or two eggs and break it appropriately. Mix it properly. Apply it on your wet hair and then leave as it is for 25-30 minutes. Then wash it with little hot (lukewarm) water and shampoo properly.


4. Indian gooseberry (amla) has antibacterial, antioxidant and exfoliates properties. These properties make it one of the best homemade remedy for hair fall. For obtaining new and strong hair crush fresh Indian gooseberry fruits and make a fine paste. Then apply it on your skull. Leave as it is for 15 to 20 minutes. Then wash it off and don’t use shampoo for 2-3 hours. Repeat this every week.


5. Dabble the fenugreek seeds (methi ke beej) in water for 8 hours, then grind it and make fine paste. Apply it on your scalp and hair. Leave it as it is for at least 30 minutes, and then wash with lukewarm water. Repeat this weekly on the regular basis.


6. Olive oil (jaitun ka tel) can be used to get soft and healthy hair. Apply warm olive oil on your scalp and hair, massage it properly. Leave it for at least 40 minutes then wash your hair with little amount of shampoo or leave it for one night and wash it in next morning.


7. You can also use coconut oil. Apply little warm coconut oil on your scalp and massage thoroughly. Leave it for one hour. Then washing it.


8. Eat healthy food for healthy hair. Some of the best food for healthy hair are:


> Guava and bell peppers are rich in vitamin C which is necessary to prevent breaking of hair.

> Eat leafy vegetables.

> Iron rich food like fortified cereals, pastas, soybeans and grains.

> Eat Sweet potatos, pumpkin, carrots, cantaloupe (kharbooja), kale (gobhi) for all cell growth, including hair.

> Eat lean meat like chicken having less saturated fat to get protein for hair growth.

> Add cinnamon (dalchini) spice to your food. It helps in blood flow that will carry oxygen and nutrients to hair follicles.

9. Avoid using hair drier. In lack of proper use, it weakens the hair from root.

10. Avoid over usage of chemicals. Try to use more natural or herbal products.
