Most of the people suffer from dry skin problem during dry seasons, especially during winter term. It mainly happens due to lack of moisture in our body skin.

Here we are giving you some of the natural home remedies for your dry skin which will not only be cheaper than market products but also are easily available at your home and will give your skin a healthy moisture state back.


1. Honey:

Honey is a good source of antioxidants which helps to slow down the cell damage and protects our skin by controlling the free radicals production. The properties of honey make it one of the best remedy for treating dry and flaking skin. Mix 2 teaspoon of honey and few drops of olive oil and apply this mixture all over the body before taking bath. Leave it for about 10 minutes and then wash out with water.


2. Drink water:



Drink more and more water. Drinking water will help to keep your body hydrated and which in turn will alleviate your rough and dry skin to a great extent. You should drink at least 8 glass of water daily but if possible you should try to drink water more than 8 glasses.


3. Coconut oil:

Coconut oil contains good quantity of fatty acid which helps to moisturize your dry and flaking skin. Little warm the coconut oil and apply it all over the body before you go to sleep and then wash out it in the morning. You can also apply coconut oil after taking bath on your dry skin. Do any of these two remedies daily to avoid dry skin problem.


4. Aloe Vera:



Aloe Vera is a very well known natural remedy for various skin problems.  Its leaves act as an effective moisturizer for our skin. You can take a Aloe Vera leaf and obtain its gel by cutting the leaf. Scoop the gel out of leaf and apply it on your skin to get the result.

Milk contains good amount of lactic acid in it which supports our skin health. The milk cream acts as an amazing moisturizer for our skin and also assists in maintaining the pH level of skin. Mix 2 teaspoon of milk cream, 1 teaspoon of milk and few drops of lemon juice in a bowl. Now apply this mixture on your dry skin areas and leave it for a while before taking bath. Do this remedy everyday to keep your skin smooth and moisturize.


6. Avocado:



Avocado is a very well known skin moisturizer and also good for your heart. You can make its paste by mashing its flesh. Now apply this paste on your dry skin or face. Leave it for about 15 minutes and after that wash off this avocado mask with warm water and then splash cold water on your face.


7. Almond oil:



Almond oil is a wonderful source of vitamin E which makes it one of the best lubricator and moisturizer for dry skin. Almond oil supports our overall skin health and is easily absorbed by our skin. 30 minutes before taking bath, lightly massage your body with little warm pure almond oil. Then after taking bath apply some light moisturizer. Do this regularly to have smooth skin.
