Apple is rich in anti-oxidants, anti-bacteria as well as contains vitamins A, B, C and K. It is healthy source of fibers. The most of the fruitful content of an apple is present in its skin but most of the people not aware about it and while eating apple they remove the skin part of an apple which is not logical.

 

Health benefits of apple:

1) Healthier and whiter teeth:

Add apples to your diet to maintain your proper oral health. When you eat apple it stimulates the production of saliva in your mouth which in turn helps in reducing tooth decay by decreasing the level of bacteria. The abrasive properties of apple assist in fighting stains on your teeth and thereby whiten your teeth.

2) Lower the cholesterol:

Apple is a good source of fiber (1 medium sized apple packs about 4 gm of fiber). In this fiber some are pectin, a kind of soluble fiber that lowers the level of LDL or the bad cholesterol.

3) Weight loss:

Diet rich in fiber are generally recommended to control weight as the food rich in fiber makes you feel full without causing you too many calories in your body. Also apple does not contain any fat or sodium. A wonderful way to lose weight is intake apple before having meal.

4) Boost memory:

Eating an apple daily can inhibit the turn down of a neurotransmitter known as acetylcholine; thereby apple helps in improving your memory and lowers the chances of developing Alzheimer’s.

Apples contains flavonol which reduces the chances of development of pancreatic cancer. It also contains many ingredients like triterpenoids which prevent the breast cancer and liver cancer.

The antioxidants and anthocyanims present in apple help in lowering the risk of developing type2 diabetes.

Apple has antioxidant named quercetin which is very helpful to avoid bad breath which take place due to bacteria.

Eating apple everyday can reduce the risk of stroke. It is found that even including just 25gm of white fruits and vegetables in your diet daily can lower the risk of stroke by 9 percent.

10) Glowing skin:

Apple contains antioxidants which remove toxin substances from our skin and provide natural glow to the skin. It is also rich in vitamin C which is helpful to remove wrinkles and other skin problems.
