Piles symptoms and prevention

A pile is nothing but blood vessels present inside and outside the anus, it is due to swelling of anus veins or veins present in rectum. It creates lot of pain while sitting or standing. Pile suffering person separate himself/herself from the society to avoid embarrassing moment. It makes patient’s life hell. So it’s better to take serious attention in initial phase of piles and avoid eating oily and spicy food which can cause situation more severe and painful. Normally piles heal by itself but if it is consistent then consult to your doctor.

It is basically classified into two types.

Internal piles- It is present 2 to 3 cm above the anus.
External piles- It is present at outside edge of the anus.

PilesSymptoms of piles:

Stool comes with the blood.
Itch desire around the anus.
Mucus discharge after the stool.
Creates pain while stool.

 

TIPS TO PREVENT PILES

  • Drink at least 4 – 5 liters/day of water or any other fluids
  • Always try to consume boiled and cooked food (Which is soft).
  • Swallow food after adequate mastication
  • Consume food at specified time intervals.
  • Avoid intake of food /snacks in between meals.
  • Consume diet which contains high fiber content, like:

– Green Leafy Vegetables.
– Bananas
– Cabbage
– Cauliflower
– All seasonal Fruits etc.

  • Exercise at least for 1/2 hour to 1 hour every day.
  • Avoid smoking and chewing tobacco products.
  • Avoid alcohol drinking.
  • Consult your doctor in the event of bleeding per rectum.
